In an “Exposure C”, the most severe exposure in open flat terrain, with a 300 mph wind, this shelter would receive 21,000 pounds of wind pressure. This is only 1/3 of it’s minimum designed strength!
The shelter and lock-down system weighs a minimum of 50,000 pounds. It is constructed from a carefully engineered design using a special mix of reinforced concrete.
As you enter the shelter, you will see a very important design feature: the ultra-modern baffled entry. Our company was the first to use the baffled entry system which has been analyzed by experts as “decades ahead of the industry”.
